New Delhi : In the meeting of the East Delhi Corporation Health Committee, councilors have kept frequent complaints related to stray dogs, poisonous animals, illegal dairies, illegal shops and meat and encroachments. The councilors have been working for the last two years, despite this, no action is taken on behalf of the corporation officer.During the meeting, councilor Reshma Nadeem said that a bitch has been cut off many people in the street of Jafarabad. Officers do not take action even after giving complaints sometimes. Councilor Geeta Rawat said that even people in Vinod Nagar area are troubled by dogs. Tahir Hussain, Sumnalata Nagar and Govid Agarwal said that because of stray dogs, people have become difficult in the streets of the colony due to walk.Dr. Om Prakash, the officer of the department of veterinary department told that the dogs are brought to sterilize. Then they are taken away in the same area and left. Anju Kamalakant said that the illegal mandate of meat near the Joint office in Faith Nagar is found. He has been demanding action against them for two years, but officials are relieved by invoicing. Govid Agarwal said that there is a huge shortage of Rabies injection in hospitals. Due to this dog hunting people are wandering. He demanded to open Rabies vaccine center at Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Hospital, Patparganj. Reena Maheshwari said that earlier in the Swami Dayanand Hospital the CT scan was arranged through private agency, but now it is closed, it should be started soon. Gita Rawat said that the villagers roam on the streets in Mandawali, making it difficult for people to walk on foot. Babita Khanna raised the issue of encroachment and illegal shops in Madhu Vihar. Vimalesh said that the construction of the center of the child-child center in the beautiful town has been going on for four years but it has not been completed till now.
