DDA to create 17 lakh flats under land pooling policy

New Delhi : The much-awaited and highly ambitious land pooling policy of Delhi Development Authority (DDA), which fulfills the 17 million flats and residential needs of more than 75 lakh people, will now be caught under the guidance of the expert panel. DDA has sought proposals from candidates and agencies wishing for the appointment of this panel. It has been kept for one month. The appointment of the panel will be valid for three years.According to the information, the panel will include experts in planning, town planning, infrastructure, engineering etc. Panel experts will formulate a detailed outline of the land pooling policy on how to move ahead, so that there is no problem later. Zonal plans will be prepared first for the scheme. In the zonal plan, everything will be marked in advance, where and how many land units should be prepared for housing? Where will there be houses and where will there be lines of community building, park, parking, sewerage and drinking water. Only interested people will register themselves in this. Registration will be done on this portal in the first phase.
